IMPORTANT INFORMATION for Teacher Training Track.

If you are already a Yoga Teacher or Meditation Facilitator and wish to guide others through a Mindfulness and Meditation course or add on meditation to the end of your yoga classes, this is the Track for you. Upon completion of the training you will be able to add 40 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to your annual YACEP program with Yoga Alliance.

To guide others effectively, your blissipline to personal practice, the classes and workshops in this training is essential.  To complete the course you must guide a 20 minute meditation class in the last week of the course, or during the week you apply for CEU points with Yoga Alliance.

To gain Continuing Education Units (CEU) , you need to already be a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and you need to register your participation on the Yoga Alliance (YA) website BEFORE the start of the course otherwise you will not be eligible for CEU points. I will assist you in this process once payment has been made. Please notify me once you have made payment

CE is calculated on an hourly basis, so if you have a cut off date to register CEU to keep your status as a YA RYT before the course ends on April 23rd, you can receive a certificate with the total hours you have done up until that point, and upon early completion of your 20 minute class during that week of applying for your CEU.  Please inquire if you are unsure of what this means.

As we continue to live with the impact of the pandemic, there has never been a more important time to repeatedly take actions to nourish your mental health and encourage others to do the same.

Research shows that women are more vulnerable to stress and post-traumatic stress disorder than men particularly by 18-24 and 45-64 age groups. Women with children are also more likely to report symptoms of anxiety and/or depressive disorder than men with children (49% vs. 40%). *

In this course you will learn about the female brain and what individual and group exercises women can do to lessen stress and improve mental health. You will also learn easy ways to help family members and friend suffering, and if you are a teacher have a solid framework to offer your own mental health courses based on mindfulness and meditation.

While mindfulness courses are in demand for school children and the corporate world, women also need support and are more likely to positively influence the lives of children, family, and society than any other group. It's time to focus on you and the women in your community. Together we can help bring more hope and love into our world.

Prevalence of stress, anxiety, depression among the general population during the COVID-19 pandemic: a systematic review and meta-analysis. Nader Salari (and others). Globalization and Health volume 16, Article number: 57 (2020)

The training is a combination of online and optional in-person (outdoor) classes. You can join all sessions online via ZOOM if you prefer.

You will be able to access the personal practice videos, audios, notebooks, and  transcripts via a membership site.

Some of the course content is standard in the mindfulness and meditation world, but if you know Shivani, you know she is a fusionist and weaves her feminine magic for a unique and interesting adventure specific to the needs and desires of women.
